What Is DeMolay International?
DeMolay International is a youth organization dedicated to the development of moral character, leadership, civic responsibility, and practical life skills among young men ages 9 through 20 and beyond through mentoring and educational programs.
Founding and History
DeMolay International was founded in 1919 by Frank S. Land in Kansas City, Missouri. Land established the organization to provide young men with a structured program for developing character, leadership skills, and civic awareness during their formative years.
Named after Jacques de Molay, the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar, DeMolay has grown into an international organization with chapters across North America and beyond. The organization has maintained its core mission of youth development while evolving to meet the needs of modern young people.
Today, DeMolay International continues to serve young men through mentoring, leadership training, community service, and fraternal bonding that prepares them for responsible adult citizenship.

Fellow Craft and Master Mason Degrees
